Balanced Lifestyle
A Way towards Sustainable Future
Recent incidences of heart attack in celebrities and wealthy people triggered a concern about a lifestyle they live.
Celebrities under the supervision –
These people used to go Gym and do rigorous exercise on regular basis under a supervision of GYM Trainers
They follow special diet plan under the supervision of dieticians, more focused on protein intakes, cholesterol free diet, spent too much for living healthy.
But these people are more victim of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs).
Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) - these are group of disease of Heart and Blood Vessels including Heart attacks.
According to WHO (World Health Organization) Report,
· 4 out of 5 CVDs deaths are due to heart attack and strokes globally
· In India, 45% deaths among 40-69 age groups due to CVDs.
Factors responsible for increasing risk of CVDs
· Unhealthy Lifestyle including unhealthy diet, late night sleep etc.
· Physical Inactivity
· Use of tobacco products and alcohol consumption
These factors also increased risk of other diseases like
· Problems of BP (Blood Pressure)
· Diabetes and increasing level of Blood sugar among youth
· Bad cholesterol and obesity problems.
Lifestyle-
There are mainly 2 types of lifestyles people used to follow –
1. Perfect lifestyle (focusing on strict diet plan and rigorous exercise)
2. Unhealthy Lifestyle (Unhealthy diet and Physical inactivity)
Both types of Lifestyle can prove to be fatal for common people, therefore there is need of a Balanced Lifestyle to remain healthy and prosperous for longer time.
Balanced Lifestyle –
According to me, a balanced Lifestyle focus on mainly 2 things –
1. Balanced Diet and
2. Balanced Exercise
Balanced Diet - “Eat every nutritious food but in limited quantity” – focus on Food Diversity
Our body need all types of nutrition on daily
basis. It consists of Carb, Fat, Protein, Vitamin, Minerals and ample quantity of
water to remain healthy.
Focusing on only artificial protein diet
and on unhealthy junk food can cause nutritional deficiency, also call hidden
hunger and reduce immunity.
Excess avoidance of fat can be fatal for
body as our body is made up of lipid and fat play crucial role in lipid
formation.
But which type of fat is required
for body?
·
Good Cholesterol (HDL – High Density Lipoprotein) is
very essential to keep our heart and blood vessels healthy.
Example – Omega 3
·
Bad Cholesterol (LDL – Low Density Lipoprotein) is
very harmful for body and responsible for heart attack problems.
Example - Trans Fat found in junk food is a
part of bad cholesterol, harmful for body.
Balanced Exercise-
“Focus on light exercise instead of rigorous exercise”
Light exercise are
like Brisk Walking, Running, Dancing, Cycling, Yoga etc. which is body friendly
and can be done for longer time easily.
According to some experts,
Brisk walking of 30 minutes for 5 days in a week can be proved a boon for internal organs of our body like heart, lungs, stomach, liver, kidney and brain.
To deal with nutritional deficiency and
food adulteration, one should focus towards –
·
Food diversity
millets, fruits, vegetables in diet
·
Food supplements
under the supervision of specialized doctors, multivitamins and multiminerals
can be taken to fight with nutritional deficiency
·
Do not rush
towards Immunity based products as immunity develop by our body in
by itself
·
Focus on
Balanced Exercise like walking, cycling, dancing etc.
·
To avoid junk
food, frequent medication for small health problems
·
More focus toward good
Sleep and less Stress
- Sleep of
7-8 hours daily keep body and organs healthy.
- Less stress
keep mind happy and us healthy
So, there is need of balanced lifestyle on
a sustainable way to keep our future prosperous and progressive.
